On June 30, 2025, the Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil Jódar, presided over the regular session of the municipal plenary of the city corresponding to June. The points discussed and the outcome of the appropriate votes were as follows:
1. Approval of previous sessions. Unanimously approved
2. Report on the decrees issued by the mayor and resolutions of delegated councilors.
3. Regarding the resolution of debts and the final approval of the budget and general staff for 2025. Approved with 15 votes (PP+VOX) and 10 against (PSOE+IU)
4. The joint motion of the popular municipal groups and VOX regarding the reversal of the property housing the current facilities of the Palace of Justice. Unanimously approved
5. The joint motion of popular municipal groups and VOX regarding payments into the account, participation in taxes, surpluses, and aid for damages caused by the rain. Approved with 15 votes in favor (PP+VOX) and 10 against (PSOE+IU)
6. The joint motion of the popular municipal groups and VOX on democratic regeneration and the holding of general elections. Approved with 15 votes in favor (PP+VOX) and 10 against (PSOE+IU)
7. The motion of the socialist municipal group so that, in June, July, August, and September of this year, no medical office is closed in the municipality or health services are closed in health centers, as well as in the Hospital Rafael Méndez. Approved unanimously
8. The motion of the socialist municipal group to guarantee air-conditioned areas and decent shades in public educational centers in Lorca. Approved unanimously
9. The motion of the socialist municipal group to strengthen measures against corruption at all levels of public administration. Rejected with 15 votes against (PP+VOX) and 10 in favor (PSOE+IU)
10. The joint motion of VOX and the popular municipal groups for the Declaration of the Municipality of Lorca as a «priority area for water supply» due to the threat of desertification and transfer reductions. Unanimously approved
11. The joint motion of VOX and the popular municipal groups to request the construction of a viaduct in Rambla de la Torrecilla, as part of the Ave works. Unanimously approved
12. The joint motion of the municipal and popular municipal groups to request compliance with expulsion orders of foreigners and to strengthen requirements for access to residency permits and Spanish nationality. Approved with 15 votes in favor (PP+VOX) and 10 against (PSOE+IU)
13. The motion of the ruling municipal group tied with 15 votes against (PP+VOX) and 10 in favor (PSOE+IU)
14. The motion of the municipal group United-Greens + Podemos + AV on transparency and good governance measures in terms of corruption. Rejected with 15 votes against (PP+VOX) and 10 in favor (PSOE+IU)
15. The Left United-Greens + Podemos + AV for municipal registry, confrontation, and urban load of abandoned facilities. Rejected with 15 votes against (PP+VOX) and 10 in favor (PSOE+IU)
16. The emergency motion to request from the Carm the inclusion in the regional budgets of the necessary element for the construction of the Health Center in San Cristóbal. The emergency motion was rejected with 15 votes against (PP+VOX) and 10 in favor (PSOE+IU)
