During the event, which was attended by the director general of competitiveness and tourist quality of the Murcia region, Eva Revete, and with representatives of the business sector, tourism councilor Santiago Parra explained that a total of forty companies and services in the municipality received a personalized 30-second video, which will serve as a promotional tool. Additionally, there was a general showcase of Lorca, positioning the municipality as a tourist destination and highlighting the good work and commitment of its businesses and hospitality.

«This project reflects Lorca’s commitment to strengthening a tourism model based on excellence, sustainability, and visitor experience. Companies that are part of SICIS not only improve their internal management and customer satisfaction but also become ambassadors for the Lorca brand,» said Santiago Parra, who also indicated that through the videos presented today, we present today. a constant of our effort. Parra finally recalled that Lorca has been respected in this national initiative for over 15 years and has fifty companies that have obtained this recognition that offers them free training and technical assistance, a guide to personalized best practices, official recognition, greater promotional visibility, and access to national and national networks.

The Siclic is promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism and managed by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). Its objective is to continuously improve the quality of tourist destinations through a common methodology involving all tourist agencies: accommodation, restaurants, shops, tourist guides, museums, tourist offices, among others.
