Lorca, January 10, 2025. The councilor of the city of Lorca, Santiago Parra, along with the Secretary of the Association of the House of Amales, consumers and users of Lorca, Pilar Álvarez, presented the XXVII edition of the «meeting of» their «meeting» of poetry «and music», an event that will take place on February 14th, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Mayor José María Campoy Camacho Center.
Parra emphasized that «on the occasion of the most romantic event of the year, the association of homes, consumers and users of Lorca returns with» their traditional meeting of poetry and music «, a cultural project activation, free, aimed at all who are public and that this year reaches its Twenty-eighth edition».
Therefore, the association has planned a special program, which includes the ordinary proclamation and a poetic recital for which this 2025 will be responsible for Rosa María Luján. Additionally, during the night, participants can enjoy the musical concert of Santa Cecilia Coral, from the Association itself, conducted by Jódar.
Specifically, the program includes titles: Popurri. -Samba my hope; Everything is color; Chacarena de Las Pietras; I love you because I love you; Fado; Black Orpheus; Popurrí. -Ma -me or leave me; Cachito Potpourri.
«This event is a well-known meeting in the municipality. Every year, it has several attendees, who enjoy a very pleasant and enjoyable meeting where literature, music, and entertainment are intertwined,» said the mayor.
The culture mayor also recalled that «the AMAS Association is a very beloved group in our city for the continuous achievement of participatory initiatives, to generate enriching proposals for Lorca.» He also invited everyone to join this meeting, «which will lead to a very special meeting».
On her part, Pilar Álvarez thanked the city of Lorca for the support not only in this regard but also in each of the activities that the association has carried out throughout the year.
