El partido popular en la región de Mercia afirmó el 9 de junio, el día de la región, el financiamiento correcto para la región de Murcia y la continuidad de la transferencia de Tajo-Sagura.
During the institutional event organized at the Romea Theatre, the spokesperson of the popular parliamentary group, Joaquín Seldo, pointed out that, after almost half a century of autonomy, «we are at a key moment in our history» and that it is time for «the region of Murcia to occupy the space it deserves.»
In this sense, he emphasized that «today is a good day to claim who we are and who we want to be: a community that asks for no more than anyone else, but is not willing to be less than anyone else.»
In this framework, «the model of stability, management, and commitment represented by the government of Fernando López Miras as a driving force of a community that advances steadily and does not resign itself to the constant dissatisfaction of PSOE and Pedro Sánchez.»
In fact, today «the region of Murcia is synonymous with institutional solidarity, economic growth, and job creation, thanks to the policies promoted by the government of López Miras.» He added that the regional president leads «a project that offers certainties, generates trust, and aims to improve the lives of citizens.»
