This information was shared by the local development and employment mayor of Lorca, Rosa María Medina, who handed over the keys this morning to the two new entrepreneurs joining the group of entities heading to the Municipal Center for Commercial Initiations «La Torrecilla».
«It is the duty of public administrations to provide all mechanisms and tools at our disposal so that entrepreneurs can implement their initiatives and develop their businesses, with measures focused on promoting innovation, activating financing channels, and of course, providing business advice, because we understand our municipal model.»
«With the addition of these two entities, Together with everyone already hosted, the municipal nursery of companies totals seven and reaches 100% occupancy. This is in addition to the various courses and experimental programs aimed at promoting employability in the municipality, which have been developed on the premises, using various resources, such as special vehicles or equipment;
Specifically, they are:
– Jas Autodetailing located in dock N6 managed by Sebastian Andrei Stoica, whose commercial activity is vehicle autodetailing (deep cleaning of vehicles) and designing and selling screen shirts.
– Cahito Coffee Roaster located in dock N4 managed by Álvaro Sánchez Rojo and Víctor Cerón López, whose commercial activity is coffee, tea, and substitutes preparation.
The implementation of these new promoters was carried out after evaluating and verifying all the requirements set out in the access guidelines by the Technical Commission for nursery selection.
The lease contract duration is three years (previously one), extendable for another year; Beneficiaries must also pay a small monthly fee, ranging between 121 and 150 €, depending on the square meters of the assigned dock.
«It should be noted that the Municipal Business Initiatives Center» La Torrecilla «aims to provide a temporary location at low costs, both for facilities and companies to support businesses, in order to promote and support new commercial initiatives,» said the mayor for local development.
It should be mentioned that «protected entrepreneurs can use various common areas, such as reception, meeting room, auditorium … as well as receiving business advice and technical support throughout their stay at the nursery,» added Medina Mínguez.
These facilities, located near the Municipal Training Center and Employment Initiatives, opened in April 2008 and have housed over half a thousand companies. They operate 12 months a year, on weekdays, from Monday to Saturday, except for national, regional, or local holidays, with an 8-hour schedule. From 8:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, and from 8:00 to 15:00, Saturday.
