A 47-year-old man died and three other people were injured when two vehicles collided on kilometer 12 of RM-711 Road (Lorca-Caravaca de Cruz), near Almudema, in Caravaca de Cruz (Murcia), according to sources from the Emergency Coordination Center consulted by Europa Press.
«1-1-2» received several calls at 7:09 am warning that there was a head-on collision and that people were injured and trapped inside the vehicles involved.
At the scene, patrols from the Civil Guard, local police, firefighters from the Murcia region, and ambulances from the emergency health service 061 were mobilized.
Emergency services confirmed the death of a 44-year-old man and treated the other 47-year-old man, who was then transferred to Rafael Méndez Hospital in Lorca with minor injuries.
Another 48-year-old man was taken to the North-West Regional Hospital from Caravaca with serious injuries. Another injured man, a 26-year-old, was treated on-site and then transported to the hospital on his own.
