Extraordinary Plenary Session in Yecla City
The extraordinary plenary session in Yecla city unanimously requested the Declaration of Yecla Municipality as an area affected by the Spanish Government Council for civil protection emergency due to hailstorms that occurred on May 10th in various areas of the municipal district, causing severe damage to crops, harvests, and city infrastructure.
The agreement highlighted that the municipality was impacted by the orange alert level for adverse meteorological phenomena, as communicated by the General Directorate of Security and Emergency of the Ministry of the Presidency.
Subsequently, reports were issued regarding the damages incurred in crops and infrastructure, which will be supported by the disaster area request from the municipal technical architect, the coordinator of farmer and animal organizations (COAG), and the regional agricultural office under the Ministry of Agriculture.
