The regional government has increased surveillance of Mar Menor with the implementation of two new chambers, added to the six already installed, which will provide access to the state of the lagoon in real time, according to community sources in a note.
In this way, those interested in knowing the situation of the ecosystem can do so through the website activated by the General Directorate of Mar Menor.
The «Mar Menor Live» service, on the Can Channel Mar Menor website, includes real-time monitoring of the lagoon through several chambers installed in different parts of the Sallada lagoon.
Specifically, Two Chambers are located in San Javier (Doubmarar in La Manga and Paseo de Colón, position of Rescue Lima 1), Los Alcázare (high performance), one in the page and in Cartagena (Neighborhood Association Center of the Urutias Neighbors Association and Hotel Cavanna).
In addition to these six chambers, two more are incorporated for the live viewing of Mar Men Las Salinas Lima 1 in Narejos).
With these, a total of eight are now added and the objective of expanding the visualization and monitoring of the state of Mar Menor is achieved.
Currently, the chambers are live-streamed, allowing for the anticipation of possible risks and the detection of impacts and undesired events, as well as their immediate assessment.
