Librilla (Murcia), 16 (Europa Press)
La Guardia Civil proceeded to identify, comparing the genetic profiles, the human remains found last May inside an oil tank in Librilla (Murcia) and determined that they correspond to the two individuals who disappeared in December of the previous year.
Specifically, these are two local individuals from Cameroon and Ivory Coast, aged 37 and 53, who disappeared in December 2024.
The identification was carried out by the agents of the Ecological Judicial Police Unit of the Guardia Civil in Murcia in Operation Camelibri, according to sources from the Benemérita in a statement.
It should be noted that the Guardia Civil has undertaken a «complex task» to recover two bodies that eventually match the disappearance in Librilla.
The bodies were found in an underground storage of oil waste in a ship in the municipality itself and were able to be recovered on Friday, May 9th of last year, after searching for them that month.
It should be noted that the Ecological Judicial Police Unit of the Guardia Civil in Murcia has arrested three individuals who are suspected to be related to the disappearances of two men in Librilla. These arrests took place in an investigation initiated in December of the previous year.
