A local revitalization event that San José Street Shops has carried out for more than 10 years, coinciding with the change of season to summer and that this year will take place. Late and night on Friday, June 13 from 18:00 to 00:00 hours. During this time the stores on San José Street, and other stores located on other streets of the city belonging to the association that wanted to respect this campaign will provide discounts and special promotions for customers on seasonal collections and products.
San José Street will be closed to traffic, from Rambla Street to San Franscisco Street, becoming a pedestrian street during the event. With the exception that this year, due to construction work on alternative streets, the urban bus will continue with its regular route that passes through San José Street. To avoid any confusion, local police will pay attention to this route and the urban bus schedule to reduce pedestrian traffic when necessary, as explained by the commercial counselor.
This time there are 29 businesses participating in this event: Botonchic, The Man of the Bag, 40 Degrees, Opticalia Murillo, Joma, JJ Express Real Estate, Victoria’s, Myd Bookstore, Gázquez Bravo, Peineta, Lalola, Cervantes Libería, Yakkar, Rincon de Mararal Duende, Juanita & Co, Calas, Mariella, Merilé, and Little Kings.
The commercial counselor thanked both the merchants on San José Street and the rest of the associated merchants who joined the «The Magic Night» campaign, «for the great effort they make, the promotions they offer, and their treatment towards all those who approach their stores, not only tonight, but every day.» He also invited all Yecla residents to «walk our streets tomorrow after visiting our merchants, to collaborate in maintaining a sector that is an economic engine of our city, that brings life to our streets, that provides jobs, and that brings joy to our city.»
