Podemos registered a request on Thursday in the Congress of Deputies for the Navantia Committee to appear before the Industry Commission, according to sources from the purple training in a statement.
«We want the company’s committee to expose the critical situation that the shipyard is experiencing and to explain to all political groups the violation of rights and agreements that Navantia has committed, hindering work and its progress,» said Podemos’ Javier Sánchez Sernaz.
In addition, Podemos is seeking for a delegation of deputies from this commission to be able to visit the facilities in Cartagena. «The Congress of Deputies must listen to the workers at Navantia,» said the Purple Spokesman.
«Unlike what happened in the Regional Assembly last Tuesday, where there wasn’t even the decency to stop for 15 minutes, so the president and all the deputies could meet with the workers,» according to Sánchez Serna, who stated that «their voice must reach the Congress and their demands must be heard.»
