The General Directorate of the Environment reports on the prediction of the intrusion of African air masses in the south, the peninsular ETH for today, May 30, which could affect air quality in the Mercia region.
Lorca, May 30, 2025. The mayor of the Lorca Municipal Council, María Hernández, reported the prediction of an African air mass affecting air quality in the Mercia region, according to data provided by the autonomous community.
According to the consulted models, the surface dust concentrations for today, May 30, are estimated. Specifically, the Skiron model estimates this concentration in the range of 1-100 μg/m3 over the southeast.
