Both Saturdays and Sundays, there will be a children’s signing session with the artist, photo sessions with fans, and a life-size exhibition based on his most famous characters and drawings.
A character dressed as Deadpool will also be present on Sunday to take pictures with the public. As an added bonus for families, there will be a free tasting for parents while the younger ones enjoy various activities.
Antonio David Sánchez, mayor of young talent, stated: «We invite Lorca residents and visitors to participate in this event, to interact with Salva Espín, and to enjoy this festival before and after the cultural and gastronomic agenda.»
On May 27, 2025, fans of comics and illustration can enjoy the presence of renowned artist Salva Espín from Murcia. He is internationally recognized for his work with Marvel Studios on characters like Deadpool, Hulk, and Spiderman, during the Acho Burguer Land Festival. This was announced by talent advisor of Lorca, Antonio David Sánchez.
Antonio David Sánchez detailed that Salva will be signing and interacting with his fans on Saturday, May 31, in the afternoon, and on Sunday, June 1, around the Convent of Merced. This festival, dedicated to burgers, is a hallmark of the municipality in terms of gastronomy products. The event will showcase the best local foods, including Sgain, Will Will For Fater, Gastronomy Patios, Gasina Patios, and Local Patios.
Among the planned activities are autograph sessions, photo opportunities with fans, and an exhibition of life-size characters and drawings. Additionally, a character dressed as Deadpool, a persona Espín has brought to life on many occasions, will be roaming the venue on Sunday taking photos with the audience. To enhance the family experience, free tastings for parents will be available on Sunday while kids enjoy various activities.
«The aim of such activities is to provide young people in Lorca the chance to meet artists like Salva Espín and draw inspiration from his career. Having an artist of Salva Espín’s caliber visit the region is a unique opportunity for young people to have him as a role model and interact with him,» stated Sánchez Alcaraz.
Sánchez Alcaraz also emphasized the importance of collaborating with cultural associations like Live Fest. He commended Espín for acting as an ambassador for the Aco Burguer Land Festival and highlighted that the proposals in Lorca not only promote talent but also the cultural heritage of the region.
