The specialized office for workforce orientation and the integration of people with disabilities (GOIL) from the labor integration service Famdif/Cocemfe-Murcia, has added 9 years in the development of its activities in the municipality of Yecla, to facilitate the integration of work for people with physical and/or organic disabilities who are unemployed.
The activities and actions carried out by SIL in Yecla are divided into 3 fields: orientation, employment, and training. For their development, professionals from the Labor Integration Service moved to the municipality at least once a week. This service is personally available every Friday, between 09:30 and 14:00, at the Municipal Social Services Center in Yecla, located at C/San José no. Call 968 26 36 20.
In 2024, in the orientation area, the office served 84 people with physical and organic disabilities from Yecla and carried out 623 actions and interventions. Since 2016, the year when the collaboration agreement between the city of Yecla and Famdif/Cocemfe-Murcia was in force, 5,334 users from the municipality have been assisted.
In the employment area, 130 companies and other entities in the municipality were visited and contacted, resulting in 70 job offers and 242 placement efforts, leading to the employment of 31 individuals with disabilities. The service has been established as a reference resource for employment within the group of individuals with physical and/or organic disabilities in Yecla.
It is worth mentioning the visit of SIL to the 62nd edition of the Yecla furniture fair between May 28 and 31. Employment specialists provided information and advice to 60 participating companies on current regulations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the possibility of hiring individuals with physical and organic disabilities from the SA.
In 2024, 2 new users were supported in starting their business, along with monitoring the progress of entrepreneurs who had registered in previous years.
In the Education area, there were 40 training events and 37 participants who began training. Additionally, Famdif/Cocemfe-Murcia’s labor integration service conducted a discussion cycle called «Digital Functioning», divided into 4 sessions on November 12, 15, 19, and 19, with the participation of 11 users from Yecla.
The discussion cycle aimed to promote and enhance digital knowledge for daily work, content management, cloud usage for document sharing, online shopping, digital brand management, and protection against online crimes.
