The Councilor of Culture, Daniel Jiménez, presented the second edition of the theater week in which a new edition of The Theatre Workshop Free Theater Acting Workshop will be held. The second theater week will take place between March 24 and 30, in celebration of International Theater Day on March 27.
On March 24, 25, and 26, the «From Game to Character» workshop will take place at the municipal auditorium «Juan Miguel Benedo,» delivered by actor Paco Perele, starting at 7:00 p.m. This workshop «is a way to develop creativity, solve conflicts, learn body techniques, expression, and empathy. Social techniques in summary. It is an educational and pedagogical workshop, a way to do theater through play,» explained Daniel Jiménez.
The Councilor requested that all interested parties register for this free workshop. Registration will be open from March 6 to 20 at the offices of the Municipal Holiday and Culture Council between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
On March 27, professional actor Noah Vicente will conduct a Practical Workshop on Techniques for Writing a Play, a lecture titled «Have you ever thought you don’t have what it takes to write a play? Think again.» He will also present The Play «El Pollito», which will be performed on Friday, March 28 at 8:30 p.m.
The theater week will conclude on March 30 with a Puppet Show for Children at the municipal auditorium «Juan Miguel Benedo» at 6:30 p.m.
