During the meeting, the head of culture, Carmen Conesa, emphasized that «last year we organized six feature films and 12 documentaries, but this year we expect to double the number of films that will have the Murcia region as the protagonist. «Alongside the audiovisual sector, we design the entire support and promotion system, and this year we have the highest public fund investment in the autonomous community for productions, surpassing two million euros,» said the head of culture.
Specifically, the various calls from the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts for the Murcian Audiovisual reach 1.5 million euros in five international actions for public and regional television connection, 7TV allocates almost 800,000 euros for early funding of audiovisual works.
