Apertura del período de inscripción para las Escuelas municipales de la Semana Santa 2025

The advisors for youth and sports, Isabel Pérez and Antonio Martínez, presented Municipal Schools of Holy Week which will take place between April 14 and 22, Included in the corresponding plan financed by the Government of Spain, in collaboration with the autonomous community, in the section on promotion and creation of quality and co-response in non-school periods.

In the organized schools of the Youth department, it is intended to create a Playing space for children aged 3 to 12, engaging with children of similar age to carry out leisure, recreational, games, crafts, gymnastics, workshops, etc. Activities that will be differentiated and adapted for each age group participating.

From the sports department, Activities have been scheduled for children aged 3 to 13 including multidata transportation, psychomotor skills, alternative and traditional sports among others. Always from a playful and educational perspective.

The municipal schools will take place on April 14, 15, 16, 21, and 22, with a price of 3 euros per day. Additionally, 46 spots will be offered for users referred by social services free of charge for participants.

The pre-registration period begins today on Wednesday, April 2, and will remain open until Tuesday, April 8. The registration form can be downloaded from the Municipal Council website (and the youth space in this form sets out the priority requirements. They must complete and submit the necessary documentation to the email address Plancorrosponsables@yecla.es. Registrations can also be made by phone or in person at the bioclimatic offices.

At the end of the pre-registration period, each of the applications will be evaluated and a list of those admitted will be published. All admitted applicants will receive an email explaining how to make the payment, which must be done within the next 48 hours.

A total of 370 seats will be available in all youth and sports schools. The facilities where these schools will take place are the José Ortega Chumilla Pavilion, the María José Martínez Pavilion, and the Herratilla School Chamber, for sports activities; and the Alfonso X Sabio School for Youth.

Both councils extended an invitation, encouraging parents, mothers, and guardians to register children in these activities, as it is a way to spend this Holy Week, have fun, share experiences with other children, and especially Be in the care of professionals and sports monitors, all qualified. A total of 30 monitors will participate, which also implies job creation by the local council and is also one of the objectives of this appropriate plan.
